The FootySF Podcast is dedicated to all things soccer in the San Francisco-Bay Area The podcast is produced, written, and hosted by local soccer broadcaster, Charles Wollin.

A native of West London and dual-citizen who grew up in Marin, Charles Wollin has been calling Division I College soccer since 2009. Currently, he serves as the broadcaster for San Francisco City Football Club and University of San Francisco. Wollin is also one of the lead voices of Street Soccer USA and their National Cup campaign program across the United States.

In 2014, he travelled to Brazil to cover the 2014 FIFA World Cup for the full duration of the tournament. His prior work experience also includes calling matches for the San Jose Earthquakes, National Premier Soccer League, and Tourbeau Sports Network.

He has also been a featured pundit on Fox Soccer Channel and Wynalda Talks Football on Sirius XM. Wollin began his career at his alma mater, the University of Arizona, covering Men’s basketball for Zona Zoo TV.

In addition to broadcasting, Wollin is a professional impersonator, voiceover artist, activist and proud Member of the San Francisco Spikes.

Recent episodes have featured SF City FC President, Jacques Pelham and SF Deltas’CEO, Brian Andrés Helmick, Rob Cann, one of the founders of Street Soccer USA, and more.
